If you’ve ever found yourself humming along to a song and wishing you had somewhere to sing properly — this is your invitation.
Our Wednesday Evening Singing Group, led by the fantastic Andrew Butterfield, meets every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm here at AS Music School in Sheffield (S8 8QB). It’s a relaxed, welcoming group for adults who simply love to sing — no experience needed, no auditions, and no pressure. Just a shared love of music and good company.
What to expect
Andrew brings warmth, enthusiasm and plenty of experience to every session. Whether you’re a complete beginner who’s never sung in a group before, or someone returning to singing after a long break, you’ll feel right at home. Sessions focus on group singing in a fun, supportive environment — expect variety, laughter, and that brilliant feeling you get from making music together.
All voices welcome
We mean it — every voice is welcome here. You don’t need to be able to read music, you don’t need to have had lessons, and you definitely don’t need to be “good enough.” If you love singing, that’s all you need.
