AS Music School is now a learning destination for The Children’s University. We are proud to be a part of the Children’s University because we are passionate about aiding students achieve success in all aspects of their lives.
The Children’s University is an exciting national initiative that believes in limitless learning for children beyond the classroom. It aims to ignite a love of lifelong learning in children. Their destinations encourage children to take part in a wide range of out-of-school-hours learning.
Research by the University of Cambridge indicated that a significant part of students’ academic success is due to tracking and celebrating participation in these programs. So, sign your child up with one of our expert tutors to set them on the path to success!
The Children’s University Awards
A child’s commitment to learning is celebrated by recording their participation in all aspects of voluntary learning through an awards system. One credit is awarded for each hour of learning that takes place. These are then converted into awards:
– Bronze (30 hours)
– Silver (65 hours)
– Gold (100 hours)
– And these continue right up to 1000 hours!
