Thank you all for another amazing year of music-making at AS Music School! 2024 has been one of our busiest and most exciting years to date, so we can’t wait to make more incredible music and memories with you all again in 2025.
What a busy term this has been! It all began in the Summer when we had our 35th birthday party in the carpark, featuring music from all of our wonderful students and produce from local vendors.
We hosted three exam sessions this Winter; RGT, RSL and LCM with all of our students passing with flying colours.
Our very own student, Benito, had his song published on Spotify, which was written and recorded right here at the school. Our tutors Spencer and Jonny have also been releasing new music on the platform.
All the proceeds from our gigs were donated to charity, and we are in the process of setting up our own charity in a bid to bring more music to children’s lives. Our most recent donation from the show at The Abbey was to the Sheffield Cancer Choir, which is a great organsation and one we are glad to support.
This year we also became a safe space! Please check their website for more information about the scheme. We are also showcasing two pieces of art from Artworks, and they are busy designing a mural for our waiting room. These are two organisations that we are really proud to be partnered with.
